Kangaroos, nst, nst, nst... Kangaroos...

Taken with my Minolta Dynax 7 using my Minolta 28mm f2.8 on Kodak 400uc expired 2005, Home developed in Cine-Mech C41 kit and scanned on Epson 4990.

I actually now remember going out and shooting this rolls before my son was even born. So that means I actually shot this roll over two years ago at Yanchep national park. I remember stumbling across these roos and just ducking down close to a log behind them to try and compose a decent shot. I think the outcome could have definitely been a lot worse.

This is the second scan from a roll of expired kodak 400 UC, that I developed on Friday using a c41 kit I bought off a Russion ebay seller a couple of years ago. Not the best kit, left the negs quite dark and my scanner has struggled to produce decent scans from these dark rolls. I am noticing a decent magenta colour shift to this now I’m checking on my phone. Oh well you get that when home dev’ing and scanning your own c41, this is another example of why I’m contemplating cuting back on my 35mm c41 shooting and outsource what I do shoot in the future… now I am at work I can still see the scanner lines I had eliminated, something I have never had trouble with on my Epson 4990 till these rolls. Yet another potential nail in the coffin for 35mm c41 for me.
